Crème Pâtissière
Quick and simple Creme Patissiere.
Ingredients
- 500g milk
- 100g sugar
- 100g egg yolks
- 45g corn starch
- 1 vanilla pod
Method
Mix egg, sugar & vanilla pod.
Add corn starch and mix.
Heat milk and add to slurry.
Put back on the heat and whisk until thick.
Cover with clingfilm to avoid a skin forming.
